Snow days

We got our first full snowy day yesterday and it was beautiful. After doing a little shopping in Haga (the top picture is in front of Hagakyrka or Haga Church), we spent the afternoon with Karin and Magnus and their munchkin Emma drinking coffee and policing the children. We all decided to brave the snow flurries and go out to tapas at La Sombrita on Linnegatan. We had a boisterous and tasty dinner, though Emma is apparently frightened of rice and so there was some drama when the saffron rice was brought to the table.

On the way home we made snowballs and it all felt very festive and Christmas-y. Then today we woke up to beautiful blue skies and 5-degree weather so it's slush city out, which the kids have also been enjoying.

Wow. So pretty! Oddly enough, after our snow here a few weeks ago, it's starting to feel like spring!
